forgive me. i've been rather busy lately so i haven't posted anything new & i haven't spent very much time browsing those i watch on dA.

i'm giving a large collage to my sister as a gift, so i've been working on that as well as a bit of client work i've managed to scrounge up. paychecks are nice. anyway, i haven't decided if i'll photograph & post that large collage or not. we'll see. i've been doing a lot of writing about music, making mixes, & pointless lists such as "best of 2010" too. obsessive personalities, you know.

i'll share my favourite 2010 releases so far in case you're looking for music to check out. in no order:

1. two wounded birds - my lonesome [mellow surf/pop] [single]
2. dum dum girls - i will be [garage/pop]
3. four tet - there is love in you [electronic]
4. the national - high violet [rock/mellow]
5. unbunny - moon food [great lyrics/mellow rock]
6. the soft moon - the soft moon [post-punk/soundscape]
7. japandroids - younger us [noisy punk] [single]
8. the soft pack - the soft pack [rock&roll]
9. las robertas - cry out loud [garage]
10. the neat - in youth is pleasure [post-punk] [single]
11. the fall - your future our clutter [post-punk]
12. gonjasufi - a sufi & a killer [soul/electronic]
13. nerve city. - sleepwalker [lo-fi garage]
14. the art museums - rough frame [lo-fi pop/rock]
15. the radio dept. - clinging to a scheme [dream pop]
16. surfer blood - astro coast [surf/rock]
17. caribou - swim [electronic]
18. flying lotus - cosmogramma [electronic/hip-hop]
19. bonobo - black sands [electronic]
20. lcd soundsystem - this is happening [fun/electronic]
21. pantha du prince - black noise [electronic/minimal techno]

whatever you're celebrating, i hope that you're enjoying this holiday season & staying warm wherever you are. we recently had a blizzard, so i'm knee-deep in snow.

take care. x
